Should I make the switch??

I am becoming increasingly frustrated with Blogger. When I first started using Blogger it seemed to work great, but lately I've been having many issues. The most recent are being unable to comment on blogs using gmail and now I can no longer add a gadget using HTML/Java script.
I've noticed lately that a lot of blogs are switching to WordPress and I'm considering trying to switch too. If I decide to make the switch, does anyone have any comments, suggestions or sites that may help with that transition??

I didn't find it at all difficult, but I also don't find it as much fun as being on Blogger. I was able to transport a lot of my posts to the Wordpress site. So I'm prepared, just in case!

I would be afraid though of losing the following we already have and learning a new format seems like an ugly waste of time. Keep us posted on what you decide.
