     - women's business attire (Dress for Success)
     - computer equipment
     - cell phones, iPod/MP3 Players, laptops, PDAs, ink cartridges  - recycle to charities or to Cure Recycling
     - if you would like to start your own recycling program, check out Wireless Recycling
     - building materials to Habitat for Humanity (or to companies who specialize in selling used materials)
     - eyegasses (to Lions Club, Pearle, or Lenscrafters)
     - extra hangers (to your local dry cleaners)
     - art materials (to a school or cultural organization)

Have you heard about the Re-Store? It's a store where donated building supplies can be purchased at a really good price. Things like doors, windows, plumbing and electrical supplies, kitchen and bathroom hardware. Stuff like that. good recycling concept.

I am commenting here rather than on your B just because I have been nodding my head the whole time I have been reading.

I so appreciate your thoughtful recipes and look forward to each day's greeting of something new to prepare in my kitchen AND I feel I have found a kindred in you. Makes me happy.

Older Moms rock, don't we? :-)

My A-Z posts are here.

It drives me crazy when I see how much waste we use in packaging stuff at the store. These are some good ideas.

I'm in the A-Z Challenge, too. Instead of talking about Blog Book Tours, I'll also mention my work with Little Pickle Press - a green kidlit publisher! I manage their blog and organize tours. Thanks for visiting me! http://www.littlepicklepress.com
