This is wonderful! I've been working on an article about Remembrance Day and in doing so I've done some research on my Grandpa who was also in WWII and I can't find any photos or other memorabilia. We have his DFC but that's it. :(
Have u seen canadaatwar.com? It's a forum where family members of war heroes are logging info. It's awesome!
Yes, let's not forget. My father fought in the battle of the Bugle on the front lines all the way to the taking of Metz in France. Please honor our Veterans on Veteran's Day. Thank you for posting.
Beautiful! I love this picture, and what a great reminder to remember the soldiers that did so much to make Canada the place it is today!

My Mom just found an old photo of her brother in the war - and some old pics of her older sisters ... my kids loved the old shots.
