Wordless Wednesday - A Beautiful Wedding
This beautiful image was taken at my Mom and Dad's wedding on April 26, 1947. A long time ago, but, not so far away.
I love those old wedding photographs. They evoke an aura of history and mystery. It is a wonderful legacy left by those we love that ties us to them when they are gone, or moved to a place where memory no longer connects them (as in the case of my Mum with Senile Dementia). Rosemary
I love old wedding photos, too. Someone gave me an old wedding photo of a couple from the 1920's. She didn't know who they were. It is a beautiful old photo.
I love this photo. They were so young and had their whole life ahead of them... Probably thought they had the world by the tail. I hope they would be proud of what they accomplished.
beautiful. I have a pictured displayed of my grandparents from when they were dating! It's one of my favorite pictures. My all time favorite has been lost - my grandma was on the back of a MOTORCYCLE! Hot biker grandma. LOL
Thanks for following us at the Hickman Five. Have a great day.

How lovely! The bridesmaid is wearing a hat much like my mum's bridesmaid. The era is immediately evident.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed a beautiful photograph and a wonderful legacy they have left.
