We use a three bin compost method, built by The Great Dane. I always have a load of garden gold ready for the beds, but it takes up a fair amount of space, so perhaps not practical for the smaller yard. I use a regular black composting bin for kitchen scraps because of the rats and other critters, though.
ReplyDeleteWe sent ours away every other week. I wonder where you would get a large backyard composter? I too would worry about the 'critters'. Certainly it's worth a look around the hardware stores. Great idea!
ReplyDeletewe do our best to make steps to being more green! I have a giveaway going on right now for a "green" jewelry cleaner from CEladon road!
