Living Green, One tip at a Time -  
Tip # 15
When you stop for coffee in the morning, bring a reusable mug from home.  Refills are cheaper and there is no trash* to throw away!
*(Most of the cups used by the major coffee chains have a combination of paper and plastic and are, therefore,  not compostable or recyclable)

    It's not just good for the earth - coffee from a paper cup just doesn't taste good!

    Lots of coffee shops (Starbucks, for instance) will give you a discount for bringing reusable cups-- another reason to always carry one!

    Thanks for stopping by and i love this living green feature of yours. Nice tip.. :) I am also from Canada.. We used to live in Toronto, we moved to States a while ago.. Miss that beautiful place and winters.. :)

    I didn't know that coffee was cheaper in your own mug. If you tell them at the drive thru window, will they just take it and fill i for you?
